NEW YORK, NY – May 11, 2010 – WE tv and Wedding Central, the premier all-things-bridal destinations, have partnered with General Growth Properties (GGP), the nation’s second largest owner, developer and manager of regional shopping centers, on the 2010 WE tv Wedding Mall Tour. This 20-city mall tour will feature one of the networks’ five wedding experts – cake designer Ron Ben-Israel; gown guru Mark Ingram; invitation innovator “Ceci” Johnson; event planner David Tutera; and event stylist Diann Valentine. They will each provide ideas and tips on creating a fabulous wedding day at affordable prices. A myriad of consumer brands will participate in each mall tour event via involvement in the wedding expert’s demonstrations, prizing and/or on-site displays, including: Kitchen Aid; Kodak; Men’s Wearhouse; Nina Shoes; Pottery Barn, SoBe; Titan Luggage; White House Black Market; and Williams-Sonoma. In addition, event attendees can enter to win a variety of prizes, as well as a national sweepstakes sponsored by GGP.

The 2010 mall tour is tied to the upcoming June premieres of season seven of “Bridezillas” and the third season debut of “My Fair Wedding with David Tutera.”

Each mall tour event will begin at 12 Noon with a one-hour reception sponsored by SoBe. From 1-2 pm, a WE tv wedding expert will host a demonstration on how brides-to-be can create their own celebrity wedding on a moderate budget, incorporating products from some of the participating brands, several of which are retailers within the malls. Following the demonstration, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the WE tv wedding expert who is available to answer their individual questions, as well as local “best-in-class” Wedding Expo exhibitors featured within the WE tv event area. The first 150 attendees will receive a gift bag and can enter to win a variety of prizes, including gift cards from Nina Shoes, Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma, a KitchenAid mixer, free tuxedo rentals from Men’s Wearhouse, a luggage set from Titan Luggage, and other fun prizes. They will also have the chance to enter to win a national sweepstakes, courtesy of GGP, for a $1,000 shopping spree to any GGP mall across the country.
